Greater Shelby County Chamber launches Ads Opportunity for Members via ChamberMail!
ChamberMail places members’ businesses in front of new residents shortly after their move. This business-to-consumer program is designed to get participating members in front of 2,000 new residents for the cost of participating/ advertising.
The ChamberMail program is another opportunity for members to promote their products and services. The advertising cost paid by participants allows them to get in front of 2,000 new residents who have actually moved to Shelby County. 2014 Shelby County Student and Educator Nominations Now Being Accepted
The purpose of the “Shelby County Student of the Year” awards is to recognize excellence in Shelby County school classrooms. The Greater Shelby County Chamber of Commerce will recognize two students county-wide each year as the “Student of the Year” -- one being a student who is choosing to go on to a four year college, the other be a student who will be learning a trade or skill for a career. The two recipients will receive a one-time financial investment to assist their continuing development. All students who are nominated by the principal of their respective school will be recognized at the Award’s Luncheon scheduled for April 30, 2014. Educators play a vital role in the lives of our children and impact our community every day and help develop the workforce which our Shelby County businesses and organizations will need in the years ahead. The purpose of the “Shelby County Educator of the Year” award is to recognize excellence in the teaching profession and to inform our community of the exceptional quality of instruction delivered throughout Shelby County. In recognition of outstanding educators in our area, the Greater Shelby County Chamber of Commerce proudly presents the Shelby County Educator of the Year Award. The Chamber's Existing Business & Industry Work Group is excited to announce the development of a Green Business Program to celebrate Shelby County businesses that are committed and engaged in environmentally responsible operations and practices.
