Your Own Board of Directors

Plug into your own "Board of Directors" by joining a Business Roundtable. The groups are formed to be composed of no more than 15 non-compete business leaders (business owners / top managers) who establish their own individual meeting strategy. Participants must be a CEO, own a major portion of the business, or be the primary manager.

The purpose of a Business Roundtable is for participants to exchange information on the diversity of business management styles, gather information regarding business issues, learn problem-solving skills, share leadership experiences and develop relationships within the Roundtable. Participants share current issues and challenges at the roundtable meeting and gather possible solutions from fellow members of the roundtable. The member then gives an update on the progress at future meetings.

An established Business Roundtable is accepting applications for the 2009 calendar year.  If you are interested in applying to be a member of this or a Business Roundtable that is forming call the Chamber (205) 663-4542 or email the Greater Shelby County Chamber of Commerce for an application.
