Building Relationships

Most businesses join a Chamber to make contacts and establish relationships. All Chamber programs have a specific focus to develop a business community that shares common business values and understands the importance of developing business relationships.

Since it can be challenging for most small businesses to market themselves, we feel it is important to create and offer opportunities to meet other business owners through our Chamber member programs, activities, and events.

Time to Relax in a Social Setting to Network

The Shelby County Chamber schedules quarterly Business After Hours events. Shelby County’s premier business networking event offers investors and “Future” investors the chance to meet business professionals representing products and services in a relaxed, social setting. Attendees have an opportunity to exchange business cards and become acquainted with other business professionals throughout the community. These events are held at various locations throughout Shelby County.

To find out when the next Business After Hours is scheduled, visit the online Calendar of Events for a detailed listing of upcoming events.
